One of the technical difficulties of this product: TRIAC is the sine wave phase modulation, so dimming will cause a serious distortion when making active use of sine wave correction technique, and easily lead to instability in output, which will result in flashing LED lights. There are technical difficulties for this product in the high-power 200-600W TRIAC dimmer and 3-30W low-power LED driver. There is less current than silicon-controlled opening of valve locks and the minimum holding current is too small in contrast, and switching power supply without taking any special technical measures will make TRIAC dimmers can not stabilize the phase turn-on and turn-off ahead of schedule, and make TRIAC dimmers can not reset, causing the flashing LED lights. Our company adopted "strong incentive and constant-current weak incentives" technology and "pulse-by-suction-flow" technology which ensures a constant turn-on TRIAC, while also making high-efficiency LED driver in the working condition. With the FOT technologies combined 0 to 100% dimming levels the TRIAC dimmer can be a constant turn-on driver to ensure the stability of LED dimming without any flickering problems.
At present, TRIAC dimmers are generally against the light bulb type resistive load, and the output surge current capability is poor. The switching power supply electrolytic capacitors have capacitive load characteristics because of the problem, the impact of boot current is large, so there is a risk that TRIAC will be burned when booted, however simply taking anti-surge means will result in seriously reducing of the efficiency of product.
