People's Republic of China Patent no. ZL201020585947.0, issued on July 6, 2011, was assigned to Fobsun Electronics Ltd (Shenzhen, China).
Fobsun Electronics Ltd has been granted with a utility patent for its frosted T8 LED tube light. The State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China issued P.R.C Utility Patent No. ZL201020585947.0 for the LED tube light, which was introduced in the year 2010.
According to the abstract released by the State Intellectual Property Office, the essentials of the LED tube light are as follows: a type of energy saving LED tube light, including heat sink, lamp cover, PCB, LED chips on the PCB and power supply. The said heat sink and the lamp cover constitute the shell of the tube, and the said shell has end caps at both ends. The said lamp cover is lens with guiding rail on both sides. The said heat sink has sliding chute on both sides. The said guiding rail works together with the sliding chute. The lamp cover adopts unique optical and physical structure design, which enables the light that LEDs emit to mix when it approaches the cover by refraction and reflection, therefore the whole lamp body emits light with superior uniformity. The lamp cover is PC light mixing cover with a light transmittance of over 0.88, which enables the whole tube to emit light and mix light. The cover also brings more uniform light distribution, low light loss and high brightness output.
Fobsun filed the application for the said design patent on October 29, 2010. SIPO credits Fobsun's CEO Chen Bo as the creator/inventor of the awarded patent.
