User's Manual for LED Neon

This manual includes important information about checking after receiving the product, cautions, working environment of the product, user's responsibilities and operation instructions, please read it carefully before you use the product.

Product Checking

1) Unpack and carefully examine the product.
2) Report any damage and save all packing material if any part is damaged during the transportation.
3) Do not attempt to use this device if it is damaged.

Cautions

1) This device shall be installed and operated by a qualified electrician or technician in accordance with all relevant local codes.
2) Risk of electric shock. Ensure that the power supply is off when wiring or soldering the sections of the device.
3) Do not use metal wires to tie the LED soft neon.
4) Do not mount LED soft neon on a heat emitting object.
5) Make sure LED soft neon is installed in a well ventilated place.
6) Do not install LED soft neon in or under water.

Working Environment

This product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and applicable for both dry and damp environments.

User Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the contractor, installer, purchaser, owner, and user to install, maintain, and operate the device in such a manner as to comply with all state and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.

Operation Instructions

RGB LED Soft Neon Working with Controllers

1. Color changing mode: 7 colors changing in sequence from left to right (including B, RG, GB, RGB 7 colors).
2. Color chasing mode: 7 colors running in sequence from left to right (including B, RG, GB, RGB 7 colors).
3. Full color changing (slow fade/slow glow and skip) (including B, RG, GB, RGB 7 colors);
4. Multi section color changing, chasing or skipping;
5. Controller can be programmed according to customer’s specific requirement and to replace the functions of glass neon.

Usage Instructions

1. Do not connect LED soft neon to power when it is tightly coiled in roll. In cold winter season, please first place the product in an indoor environment with a temperature between 30 to 40 degree Celsius for over 2 hours, then start to uncoil the product.
2. Do not connect LED soft neon to power when the connecting and installation is not completed.
3. Make sure the operating voltage matches the indicated voltage of the LED soft neon before connecting to power.
4. Always pre-warm the product for at least 30 min before bending and shaping.
5. Only connect two pieces of LED soft neon with same voltage and specifications.
6. Only cut the LED soft neon at indicated marks.
7. Make sure all connecting places and both ends are tightly sealed before applying the product for outdoor use.
8. Always bend the open ends of the product and cut the extra wires after splicing the LED soft neon.
9. Do not put the product into water or other liquids. Do not drop, hit or over bend LED soft neon when it is connected to power.
10. Do not hammer LED soft neon with heavy objects during installation.
