Installation Instructions for LED Neon

Planning Installation

The LED neon installation requires planning to ensure timely, successful installation with minimal complications and down time.

Planning Suggestions

Consult an Electrical Inspector to review all wiring plans.
Create a Layout Plan drawing, per a Lighting Designer's or Architect's recommendation.
Consult FOBSUN Electronics Application Engineering Services as needed.

Connection Instructions and Connection Diagram

1. Cut LED soft neon
a. LED soft neon can be cut into different lengths according to specific min cutting length of different models and voltages.
b. Only cut LED soft neon at indicated cutting marks. Do not cut the product at other places to avoid damage of the product.
c. Bend the LED soft neon after cutting, cut and remove the extra wires which appear at the end of the cutting.

2. Connecting LED soft neon to power cord; connecting power connector to LED soft neon
a. Push the sharp side of the pin connector into one end of the LED soft neon.
b. Push the flat side of the pin connector into the power connector and make sure the pins fit into the slot.

Waterproof treatment before connecting power connector to LED soft neon.
Push the LED soft neon with male pin connector into the slot of the power connector, and squeeze the clear silicon glue into the extra space of the slot to full.

3. Connecting LED soft neon with easy splice connector
a. Position the easy splice connector to make sure the sharp ends of the pin can well push into both pieces of LED soft neon.
b. Use shrink tube to heat and tighten the connecting place.

Warning: Only connecting 2 pieces of LED soft neon with the same voltage and specifications.
4. Installing End Cap
a. Use PVC end cap with glue to cover and seal the end of the LED soft neon.
b. Use shrink tube or tie strip to further fix the end cap.
