Q: Can I put Ubright™ t5s into the conventional t5 sockets directly?

A: Yes, Ubight™ t5s can be directly put into the conventional t5 sockets. But firstly you need to take off the ballast. For detailed installation information, please refer to the user guide of Ubright™ T5s LED fluorescent light.

Q: Is there any accessories?

A: Yes, please check 1set is including 1 pc power cord, 1 pc connector, 1 pc end cap and 2 mounting clips.

Q: Can they be linked to each other and what about the maximum quantity in series?

A: Yes. The maximum quantity linked in series is
20 pcs for 1200mm version at 110v ac input;
40 pcs for 600mm version at 110 v ac input;
30 pcs for 1200mm version at 220 v ac input;
60 pcs for 600mm version at 220 v ac input.

Q: Are the FOBSUN led t5 tube series lights dimmable?

A: Yes, EPS series can be dimmable, general versions do not support dimmer.

Q: Does the led t5 tube get hot?

A: Hot is a relative term, t5 and t8 tube lights were made of aluminum housing whose physical structure is more in favor of heat elimination.

Q: What’s the led type of t5 tube lights?

A: it adopts SMDs, the model is 3528.

Q: Does installation need to be finished under power off?

A: Yes, please keep power off until you finish all the installation, or the fuse of driver will be burned.

Q: What is the lumens output of t5 tube lights?

A: The t5 tube light is about 85-95 lm/watt. It is around 680 lm for 564 mm long, 1420 lm for 1164mm long.

Q: What brand of your LEDs of the t5 tube lights?

A: it adopt Nichia chip and packaged by Korea.

Q: How much is the UbrightTM t5 tube?

A: Pricing should be comparable to a compact fluorescent downlights, trim and lamp.

Part 2: General Questions

Q: How can I pay for my orders?

A: We prefer TT and L\C payment, also accept Credit Card.

Q: What shipping options are available?

A: For small orders (under 100 KGs), we usually use International Express, such as DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT, and deliver to your door within 3-5 business days; for big orders (over 100 KGs), we use regular air shipping and deliver to your door within 3-7 business days; for order quantity of containers, ocean shipping will be adopted and shipping lead time will be around 15-25 business days.

Q: What's the lead time of it?

A: We always have the goods in stock, could ship them out from our warehouse 24 hours Express after confirmation the payment. So for sample order, we can usually dispatch immediate shipment.
For large volume order and special custom order will be determined case by case. Please confirm with your International Sales on each order.

Q: What is your warranty policy?

A: Usually we offer 3-year warranty unless specified in contract. Please view more quality warranty information at www.fobsun.com

Q: Just how long is 50000 hours?

A:50000 hours lit for 24 hours per day will last over 5 and half years.
50000 hours lit for 12 hours per day will last for over 11 years.
50000 hours lit for 8hours per day will last for over 17 years.
50000 hours lit for4 hours per day will last for over 34 years.

Q:What if I have a question that’s not covered in this list of questions?

A: Email us.

Q: why should I replace the conventional lights with LED?

A: The main targets are both white, including warm white light sources and color light sources. The latest LED technology opens up wide areas for new applications, new technical possibilities and reduced costs. The main advantages of the state of the art LED light sources are:
(1) The life time of an LED reaches or frequently exceeds the life time of the application and there are often no special changes necessary. If one defines the failure criteria as end of life when the light intensity of an LED has reached 50 % of the initial light intensity, depending on the model, one can calculate numerical life times above 100,000 hours for LED Chips based on GaAs.
(2) In the case of colored light the power consumption is below the power consumption of white light sources with filter glass (see table below). White LEDs can now reach the level of fluorescent triphosphore tubes and standard white LEDs show a better efficiency than incandescent or halogen lamps.
(3) The radiant intensity of an LED is controllable in the whole range without any change in the light properties (e.g. dimming of incandescent lamps leads to a shift in color temperature) and any time loss (switching time of LEDs for general lightening < 1 μs). The PWM (pulse width modulation) is the recommended method for the dimming of LEDs. Dimming by reduced DC current may lead to inhomogeneous appearance of LED arrays.
(4) Compared to the high efficient light sources of fluorescent tubes, compact lamps and metal halide high-pressure lamps the switching time of LEDs is very short. This plays an important role especially for applications like head lamps and brake lights in automotive and traffic applications.
(5) LEDs provide excellent stability for mechanical and thermal stress. The reliability of an LED is described by the different failure mechanisms, the spontaneous total failure of the LED and the reduced light intensity of the LED. To calculate the reliability of an LED array one should use the data for spontaneous failure. They should be in the range of 10 ppm/h within the first hour of operation including solder processes and below 0, 1 ppm after the first hours of usage.

Q:What is IP Rating's?

A: The Ingress protection system is an international standard and allows you to easily see how resistant a product is to different environmental elements.

Q: What is lumen?

A: Lumen is amount of light emitted from light source.
According to Wikipedia, "If a light source emits one candela of luminous intensity into a solid angle of one steradian, the total luminous flux emitted into that solid angle is one lumen. Alternatively, an isotropic one-candela light source emits a total luminous flux of exactly 4π lumens. The lumen can be thought of casually as a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted." For example, a standard 100 Watt incandescent bulb emits about 1500 lumen.

Q: What is Lux?

A: Lux is lumen per square meter.
According to Wikipedia, "The difference between the lux and the lumen is that the lux takes into account the area over which the luminous flux is spread. 1000 lumens, concentrated into an area of one square meter, lights up that square meter with an illuminance of 1000 lux. The same 1000 lumens, spread out over ten square meters, produce a dimmer illuminance of only 100 lux."
